THE STORY

Inspired by our motto and the lived Obstacle Wonderland mission of NEVER STOP LEARNING, SUPPORT COMMUNITY, and DREAM BIGGER, I set out to find new and creative ways to engage our OCR community and support our young athletes at the same time.

On a journey to learn a new skill and creative outlet, I taught myself to 3D Print! Once I got the hang of it, the endless possibilities sparked something so much more than a hobby! I wanted to create pieces of art that could help support one of the most meaningful elements of Obstacle Wonderland for me and in my OCR journey; teaching young kids to never back down to a challenge and fall in love with this incredible sport.

I’ve workshopped a handful of 3D printed designs I’d like to share with my friends, family, and community to help me keep the Obstacle Wonderkids programming thriving!

I hope this journey of self-discovery and creativity can reach more folks who share the passion to support the OCR community and healthy activities for kids. HERE’S THE SCOOP!

Whatever you think is a fair donation! Every dollar counts in the big picture and while we wish the grass didn’t grow or gear doesn’t wear, it is a huge limitation on what we can do with Wonderkids Camp!
We accept Venmo or could work out PayPal, or cash at the shop!
Totally! That’s one of the coolest parts about this 3D printing process…the sky really IS the limit! We can make company logo/branded gear, functional pieces, sculptural toys, home decor, you name it! Everything from jibbitz for your Crocs to a bouquet of flowers.
We’re coordinating pick up from our Newburgh shop, Precision Propeller, or we can talk about shipping to you. We’ll get them to you, wherever you are!
110% back to the kids. Any donation we get on these little guys will help with field maintenance for summer camps, operating costs for afterschool and summer programs, medals for the kids, team shirts, AND our “pay what you can” policy where we’ll never turn a child away because of an inability to pay.
We believe these programs enrich our local kids with lifelong skills like teamwork, critical thinking, passion for sport, and self confidence that is priceless.
The 3D printing community is A LOT like the OCR community; always willing to help others learn, grow, and explore. Along the way we’ll find designs that we pay for (because they’re THAT cool) and we’ll ALWAYS credit these artists for their creative and intellectual contribution.
